Patrice Johnson really enjoyed her job as a truck driver for a local Washington company. Driving gave her the opportunity to see different parts of the country and enjoy the freedom of the open road. She looked forward to the occasional crosscountry drive that would take her to the east coast. She especially loved going there in the fall when the colorful leaves on the trees were most vibrant.

Making a Difference in our Community
New Retail Space is Now Open
Our new Retail Space is now open! The Edith Bishel Center has so many helpful aids for the blind and visually impaired, like talking watches, large button phones, and so much more. Stop by and check it out.
Thank You
A Special Thanks to the Northwest Lions Foundation for Sight & Hearing for their generous grant to the Edith Bishel Center for the Blind and Visually Impaired
This grant provided funds for all new computers for every office staff member. All of the old computers were very outdated, falling apart and no longer meeting the growth needs of the Center. The new computers have allowed us to be more effective and efficient in our daily use to meet the information and practical needs of our clients.
The Edith Bishel Center is so thankful for the continued partnership with the Northwest Lions Foundation for Sight & Hearing!
